Define the markings your property needs.

A parking lot project can include more than the stall lines. Consider the spaces people park in, the arrows that guide vehicles and the markings that distinguish specific areas of the property. A clear description helps separate the work you need from assumptions about the site.

Start with the property address and the areas you want reviewed. Note whether existing markings are difficult to see, whether you want the current arrangement refreshed or whether the property’s use has changed. Include an approximate space count if it is available; you do not need to guess at measurements to start a conversation.

Identify entrances, delivery areas, tenant access and any parts of the lot that must remain accessible. If you manage several properties, identify each location clearly so the requested work can be distinguished.
